Program

Steve Wescott introduce Jeff Lisk, Executive Director of Bristol Glen, as our speaker . Jeff has almost seven years as director. He went on to tell us that operated in New Jersey for over 115 years beginning in 1907 as a home for widows and orphans. Their original facility in Sussex County was located in Branchville, NJ.
Jeff told us that during Covid the facility had to lock down on March 17 like all others but through the facilities efforts the first case did not occur until November. Bristol Glen created a hotline for daily family updates, held Zoom meetings, and created a family Town Hall group.

The facility houses 88 independent Units, 91 assisted living units, 60 long term care and subacute rehabilitation units, as well as a memory unit called Tapestry. There are a total of 240 residents. He also informed us about new renovations that have been completed and technologies the facility uses to monitor residents of the facility.
Aside from Covid testing, the facility is open and back to many of the previous programs and activities. Jeff also discussed the critical need for Nurses and volunteer staff.

The 50/50 was won by John Cuzzo for $4.00. The pot grows to $61.00!

The meeting was adjourned by Carl at 1:10 pm
