President Bill Kehoe started the meeting by introducing guest Walter Fay from the Vernon Rotary Club who invited members of our club to attend a meeting at the George Inn in the very near future, date TBA.

This Week:
Guest speaker was Don Hall, retired owner of The Chatterbox Restaurant in Augusta. He spoke about his good friend, Bill Moffett, now deceased, who was on a PT boat during WWII. He included a history about the various boats used during our wars and spoke very highly about Bill's leadership skills and bravery. Don wants very much for Bill's family to know all the details of Bill's involvement in the war and his accomplishments during and after. Present at today's meeting was Bill's wife, Nancy Graham.

Denise Current: for Tom Brodhecker hosting her guests on a tour of his farm.
Mike Hanifan: for his experience judging our area high school's annual mock trial competition.
Buzz Tomasino: visiting his grandchildren in Texas with his wife, Sally. Kurt Walton: that his son got a job right after he graduated from college.
Bob Walker: that his son sold his business and was able to retire at a relatively young age.
Bill Kehoe: thankful for our Rotary membership.
Marcie Rittie: that her son will be participating in a bicycle tour across America from California to Maryland.
January 17: At the Marriot in Basking Ridge: District Rotary Means Business January 26: Chili Open - Friday is set up. Volunteer workers are needed.
Manna House: All volunteer time slots have been filled for the designated dates that our club is scheduled to help out serving meals as part of fulfilling our recent awarded grant requirements.
Volunteers are needed as part of a county wide Rotary project in April to repair and maintain the Veteran's Cemetery.
March 2: Pancake breakfast. Sign-up sheet to volunteer is circulating during at today's and future luncheons. If event is cancelled due to weather, snow date is March 9.
Past presidents meeting is being held today at the Hampton Diner, after our luncheon.
