**Board meeting for Jan. will be held immediately following our regular meeting at our regular place Spring Street Pub, Jan 11th.
Last week, Wednesday January 4th, President Charles opened the meeting with a bold Hold onto your Hats and Welcome to the Ride!! We joyfully sang Auld Lang Syne lead by Mark. John Roberts welcome our guests, Brian Hopkins, an accounting major at Binghamton College and Denise’s guest from Russia, Kate.

- Bob Shankman gave a thoughtful definition of What Is Rotary? This is what to say when asked...Rotary is an organization of Businesses and Professional persons United Worldwide who provide Humanitarian services, encourage high Ethical Standards in all vocations and help build Goodwill and Peace in the world.
- Steve Wescott reminder to give $100.00 toward Rotary Foundation.
- Denise told story of how she met Kate. In 1998 Kate's mom was in Rotary and stayed with Denise and they have remained friends through the years.
- Bulls Eye for Charity Dart Tournament is scheduled for Jan 22, 2017 at Sheridan’s Inn.
