Last week:  Chip Wagner gave a presentation on the Tarrytown Rotary Duck Derby, a fundraiser which has been very successful for the Tarrytown Club (and for several other Rotary Clubs).  The event is held in conjunction with United Way Kids’ Day in Tarrytown, which helps to attract a good crowd.  Companies and individuals are asked to adopt a duck for $10 (corporate packages available) and receive an adoption certificate and their number written on a rubber duck.  The ducks are released into a fast-moving stream and travel approximately 100 yards.  The owner of the winning duck receives a cash prize.  See http://tarrytownrotary.org for more details.  You can also view a video of the event by searching UTube for “Rubber Duck Derby, Tarrytown Rotary Club 2016”.

Guests and Visiting Rotarians:  Richard Radcliffe (guest of Bill Kehoe), Joyce (guest of George Kaiser), and Wyatt and Sarah (Jerry Nechamkin’s grandchildren).
