Program: $14222.82 proceeds from Newton Rotary Golf Outing presented to Newton Medical Center.
Megan gave a complete overview of Atlantic Health's past, present and future projects and events.  A $1 million fundraising goal has been reached for the Oncology Expansion Project in Sparta.  Construction of a new infusion suite is underway.  The expansion will provide additional treatment space and greater comfort for patients.
The Wine and Roses Event was held in April celebrating America 250.  The event raised $309,000.00. 
The Redfern Golf Outing was cancelled due to rain, but rescheduled for September 22nd.
Newton Rotary Golf Outing will be held September 9th honoring Barbara Miller.
The Festival of Lights will take place November 14th honoring Dominick V. Romano and Kathryn Romano.
Newton Medical Center received a Leapfrog "A" Grade this spring.  This recognition reflects the exceptional quality, safety, and compassionate care delivered to their patients.
Bob Adams and the team are exploring an expansion of cardiac services.  They are seeking approval to perform elective angioplasty procedures in Newton.
 

Newton Rotary's Trust for the Hospital is over $1 million.

Announcements:                                                      July 8th, the non profit recipients will attend the meeting to receive our donations.                            July 15th, the meeting will not be at Hampton Diner, it will be at Denise's, 955 Fairview Lake Rd., Newton, at 5:00pm
