The Newton High School Honors Choir performing the coda of the three part program series, “Music of the Season.”
Last Week, December 9, 2015
Pres. Jerry led us in The Pledge; Charles offered the Prayer of Serenity and maestro, Steve, launched us into an a cappella rendition of “America the Beautiful.”
A cappella aficionados, the High Point Regional High School Chamber Choir, led by the effervescent Ms. Theresa Ricciardi, presented musically the beauty of the festive season. The second of a three part series received a standing ovation from the audience for their performance. Selections ranged from the liturgical to the traditional to a barber shop quintet to a sound in the round. A scintillating presentation it was!

50/50
Barbara Miller won holiday money. No trip to Disney for Barbara though as the pot of $154 continues to grow.
The winning ticket for Barbara (former HPRHS principal) was drawn by a
HPRHS student! Hopefully, this pattern will continue next week when a Newton High School student selects the winning ticket.
