Announcements:
Volunteer sign-up sheets for the Fair are being circulated. Each member should sign up for at least two shifts. If you are unable to work, please let Pam know that you are available to help make phone calls to fill the shifts. Please consider bringing family, friends and coworkers to help as well.
Carl Lazzaro reminded Rotarians to arrive a few minutes early for your shift, to assist with the transition. As you know, traffic into the Fairgrounds can be unpredictable.
We received “Thank you” cards from Sarah DiGiorgio and Lanie Scuralli, the students that we sponsored for RYLA at Drew University last month. We have also received a lovely letter from Gabriella Guerriero, the scholarship recipient from Newton High School.
Bristol Glen will honor Newton Rotarian Sandy Hollander on October 12th. Mark Hontz is Master of Ceremonies. Please mark your calendar.
District 7475 will host a Golf Outing on October 21st at the Berkshire Valley Golf Club, with dinner afterwards at Portofino’s Restaurant. The estimated cost is $100.
