Last Wednesday:  Tom Russo, Newton Town Manager, gave us an update on town management (meetings are now remote!), revenue sources (1/3 of the town is tax-exempt) and current projects.

Announcements:   
 
  • On August 12th, DG Ann Walko will join our Wednesday meeting via Zoom.  Please use the link that Dawn distributed via email to Preregister for the Zoom call.
  • Our next outdoor meeting at the Food Booth is planned for 8/26 and will include the installation of officers.
  • We need volunteers to clean the Fair Booth.  We plan to do a big clean on Saturday, 8/29.  We will meet first thing in the morning at the Food Booth.  See Carl to join the fun!
