1. New member inauguration for Bill: April 29th

-Healing Hands’ Bonnie from Sparta new member as well (hopefully)

2. Guest Speaker - Jim Allison “Gift of Life” - he will be speaking about life changing surgeries. He is a member of the Madison Rotary.

3. Pickleball Tournament - May 2nd

   1. $6,500 raised minus $2000 in costs = IN THE GREEN

   2. The Events Club at SCCC is going to make the graphics and then send them to the Print and Production class led by Kathleen Peterson to help sponsor the tournament.

   3. Dylan Wheton got 40 businesses in the area for sponsorship

   4. Atlantic Health donated 50 goodie bags

   5. Bill will be providing pictures and video

4. Life After Pickleball:

   1. Mike Murphy CPA helping

   2. All members were paid for last year

   3. 26/27 fiscal year starts July 2nd

   4. Billing invoices will be given out in May to be paid by June 15th

   5. Void membership if dues aren’t paid

   6. Current profit/loss statement was displayed

5. Chamber of Commerce event - Newton Day

6. Farm to Table - September 26th

   1. Wine dinner

   2. Food from Fran’s Farmhouse

   3. Homeless project - last year 48 bags were donated to Project Self Sufficiency

   4. Live music

7. Pancake Breakfast: Saturday December 5th 8-11AM

   1. Located at VoTech in the cafe

   2. Students will be cooking and doing prepwork.

   3. Rotary club members will be running the food

   4. Hoping for Santa

   5. Pancakes, hashbrowns, coffee

   6. No charge for the facility, chef, or kids’ time

 

-50/50 - $5 winner to Bud
