This Week (3/17): Pass It Along will present the Scholar Athlete Program.
Last meeting, (3/3):Laura introduced Gregory V. Pod, Sussex County Administrator. Greg has been our County Administrator for 4 years, and has spent 22 years in local state government. He lives in Byram and is the grandson of a Rotarian! Greg discussed the 4 County Administrative Departments: Engineering & Planning, Finance and Library Services, Central and Shared Services, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Regarding the COVID vaccination process: 200 vaccines/week are reserved for senior citizens who do not have the ability to schedule an appointment online. Seniors may call (973) 579-0555 to make an appointment.

Happy $:
Carolyn is happy for Sam Maddali, the newly elected District Governor for 2023-2024. Sam is the Rotarian who asked Newton Rotary to become involved in the Sri Lanka Gift of Life Global Grant.
Carl Lazzaro is happy that the efficiency of the County government has improved 100% since Greg arrived. He let us know that Greg is the Best County Administrator we have ever had.

Sam Maddali will be the DG of District 7475 in 2023-2024.
The deadline for the End Hunger Raffle is March 5th.
