Happy Dollars: 

Lisa Carlson was sworn in as Deputy Mayor in Lafayette.

Bud's Texas family visited for a week.Steve was not happy that Jim Taylor could not attend the meeting because Jim had the flu.

Denise enjoyed her visit to Keith's cousin and stay at the Omni Park Grove Inn and Spa in North Carolina.  She also celebrated her great granddaughter's 1st birthday.

Charle's daughter flew in on December 20th from California and is here to stay.  His other daughter is closing on her house in Dorset Farms on Friday.

Announcements:

Dictionaries need to be delivered to Florence M. Burd.  

Halsted Street School's Special Needs teacher requested 12 dictionaries for her class.

Sussex County Community College's Graphic Arts will assist us in the design for our fundraising booklet.  The Printing Center will print it for free.

 

Upcoming Fundraisers:

Chili Open January 31, 2026 will have a Hawaiian theme.

Gift baskets and sponsorships are needed for the Chili Open.  Please reach out to your businesses for support. 

A Specialty Cocktail of bourbon and cider will NOT be available for $10.00 a cup as PSS only applied for a wine and beer permit. 

St. Patrick's Day Parade March 7, 2026

The Pancake Breakfast will NOT be at Applebee's on March 7, 2026 as the Sussex County Historical Society booked that date.
