Rotary Club Meeting Minutes:  Linda McConville

President, Bill Kehoe opened the meeting.

Carl led the group in prayer, which was followed by our weekly patriotic song.

Guests:  Mark’s wife Suzanne and their daughter were guests at our meeting.

Happy Dollars:

Tom Digby was happy about our enthusiastic program speaker last week, Dr. Julie Ann Juliano, Her passion is Polio Vaccination.
John Frank is happy that he and other fellow Rotarians are going to visit Fred Seplow after the meeting and invited others to join them if they are available.  John was also very happy that while he and Valerie were out walking and trying to cross the very busy Route 206, Jan Pasculli came along and stopped traffic thus allowing them the opportunity to cross.
John was happy about Dr. Guiliano as well.
Laura was also happy about the program from last week.  She is also happy that the new Shoppes of Lafayette are opening and offering  a variety of services to the community.
Mark was happy that we had the Saijo Japanese flag on display and also happy that his daughter was wearing not one but two Rotary pins … while he was not wearing any pins and anticipates a fine.
Suzanne Hontz is proud of the work of the students and First Responders at Kittatinny High School.
Matt Hannum was happy to report the Volleyball Gift of Life Fundraiser did very well and was a fun night.  There were 7 teams and Matt who was on the Sterling team actually felt over the hill.  What?
Bill Kehoe was happy that the High Point High School had a Board meeting and his picture was not in the newspaper!
Steve Westcott pinned Pam Lazzaro as a Paul Harris Fellow … for the 4th time!
