Rotary Club Meeting Minutes: Linda McConville
Bill Kehoe opened the meeting at 12:30 at the Club’s new meeting location ... the Hampton Diner.
Steve Westcott led the group in a beautiful rendition of God Bless America.
Guests: No guests
Happy Dollars: Everyone was happy at today’s meeting.
Carl led off the group with the acknowledgment of his 37th wedding anniversary and blissful marriage to Pam.
Pam is happy to be back after a recent 8 day stay in the hospital.
Steve Westcott is happy to be celebrating his 1st week of being unemployed and enjoying his 1st private workout at the gym … with a side note that he cannot lift his arms after the workout!
Tom is happy to be sitting across the table from such fine Rotarians.
George M gave a happy $10 for his current attendance record … so far this year; he has 100% attendance at Rotary meetings. George is also happy to be meeting at the Hampton Diner and reminisced of the Club’s past meetings held at the Hampton Diner. He attended his first Rotary meeting with his Dad in 1977. He also was critically involved in the Club’s votes regarding women’s membership in the Club, which was voted down twice, and George gave the deciding vote the 3rd time which “allowed’ women to become members. Dewey and Alden were members then and are members today as well.
Linda is happy that her son Jason came home from California for the Christmas holidays. Linda is also happy that her husband Leo is happy that the Ravens are in the NFL playoffs (though at the time of this writing, they are out).
Jim is happy that Clemson won their game.
Dewey is happy to be back at the Hampton Diner. He recalled the name of the diner has changed several times over the years.
John was happy remembering his 1st Rotary meeting in December 1967.
Bill is happy to follow college football though most of the teams he supports have lost their games but he’s still a fan!
Carolyn is happy that her son is playing for his schools instructional squash team in a coveted 3rds spot.
Tom is happy that his wife became a great grandmother AGAIN.
Picture Fines: Dewey paid a fine for his picture which appeared in the Township Journal in recognition of the Craft Day held at Bristol Glen.

Program:
In-service. Bill asked the group to divide up and brainstorm ideas for fundraising and where the Club wanted to focus their priorities for fundraising. Following the group meetings, each group reported to the whole group. The Board will review the ideas and report the results to the Club. Many ideas presented focused on the Homeless Project and ideas for expanding the Club’s support.
