President Elect Denise Current called the meeting to order at 12:15pm.
She led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Wayne McCabe led us in Prayer.
John Cuozzo and Kathy Shankman led us in Song, God Bless America.
Guests or Visiting Rotarians
Dora Rodriguez, Vice President, Area Manager of the Hampton and Fredon branch of Lakeland Bank.
Denise welcomed Dora, our fellow Rotarians, and speaker Barbara Wortman.
Happy Dollars
Bob Brady gave a happy $2.00 because he didn’t have to go to Baltimore to pick up his daughter from college. She got a ride to Delaware, so he was able to avoid the congestion caused from the collapse of the Francis Scott Key bridge.
John Cuozzo gave a happy $5.00 because the numerous Church services at Christ Church were finished.
Buz Tomasino was happy that today was a day of giving for Jersey Mikes Subs. All proceeds go to charity.
Denise reminded the members that the Military Swap and Meet will be April 27th and 28th at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Volunteers are needed to help make this a successful fundraising event. Please mark your calendars and join your fellow Rotarians for a weekend of Fun, Friendship and Fellowship.
Members were asked to sell the Annual Cash Raffle tickets. More books are available. Don’t forget, a $20.00 ticket brings $9.50 automatically back to our club.
There are 3 first prize winners @ 10% gross proceeds/winning ticket
30 second prize winners @ 0.3334% gross proceeds/winning ticket
60 third prize winners @ .1666% gross proceeds/winning ticket
If you don’t feel lucky, and don’t buy a ticket, please do your best to promote Rotary and commit to sell the tickets to benefit our club.
