Minutes of the 06/15/2016 Meeting
Our weekly Newton Rotary Meeting opened with President Jerry leading our Pledge to the Flag and Country. A somber but beautiful and thoughtful pray dedicated to the lives lost this week in a mass shooting in Florida given by Jerry Hanifan. After was an equally somber God Bless America.
Guests:
We welcomed President Jerry’s wife, Lonnie and daughter, Liza.
SUNSHINE:
President Jerry asked literally and figuratively, what are the answers?
1- I have no voice, yet I speak to you. I tell of all things in the world that people do. I have leaves, but am not a tree. I have a spine and hinges, but I am not a man or a door. I have told you all. I cannot tell you more. What am I?
2- What do you break when you say its name?
(Answers are at bottom of Newsletter)
